UPCOMING EVENTS
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY TEACHERS MEETING — Sunday, February 3 @ 12PM
There will be a meeting for all of those who serve in the children’s ministry on Sundays immediately following service on February 3rd.  The meeting will include lunch so please RSVP to Khristy Humphries so we can have a count for food.  The meeting will end by 1:30.

SAVE THE DATE: SIXTH ANNUAL LA PAZ JAM — Saturday, February 23
The sixth annual La Paz Jam will be held on Saturday Feb 23, 2019 from 6:30-9:30 PM.  Come and join us for a great time of music and an opportunity to help some needy children in Bolivia.  Come join in and play along or come and just enjoy!  Feel free to invite your friends to come.  We will play some rock n roll, blues, Motown, country and more!  If someone can start it we will play it!  Click here for the flyer.

WOMEN’S YOGA CLASS TO RESUME SATURDAYS
Let’s refresh, revive, and connect.  Each Saturday from 11:30 AM-12:45PM there is a free yoga class led by Sabrina Harris in the teen room.  This is a power yoga class for all levels and is for women only (ages 14+).  Bring your yoga mat, work out clothing and water.  Take meals at least 1 hour prior to class.  Questions? Contact Sabrina Harris at 404-707-7368 / rezilyent@gmail.com

VOLUNTEER CORNER

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR NFCC POINT IN TIME HOMELESS COUNT — Thursday, January 24
North Fulton Community Charities is requesting volunteers for the upcoming annual Point in Time Homeless Count that will take place Thursday, January 24 from 9:00pm to 1:00am. This is the week that all across America, communities are organizing to count homeless individuals. The tally of homeless individuals identified is the way the federal government determines how much each district will receive in federal funding for homeless initiatives. Volunteers will gather at 8:00pm at NFCC for training and sent out in teams to known hot spots in North Fulton. Sign up to volunteer.

PRAYER REQUESTS 
  • UPDATE: A note from Dan Clemenz: I am thankful to God that there was no cancer found in an other part of my body.  I will be on a maintenance plan of medication.  Pray that the tumor will shrink in the coming weeks.  Thanks so much for all the prayers, cards and kindnesses.
  • Please pray for our brother, Mike Patterson as he visits with his brother who is dying of cancer.  Pray for strength for Mike and his family.
  • Please pray for Doyle Ward who is dealing with his mother’s recent lung cancer diagnosis.  Please pray or Doyle’s strength and for his mother’s treatment
  • Please continue to pray for Mark Law as he goes through chemotherapy.
  • Please pray that Mike Dickie will regain the use of his right hand in the next 6 months!
