WOMEN’S MIDWEEK — Wednesday @ 7:15 PM
It is with grateful hearts that we welcome Ann Lucas to our church family. Join us this Wednesday evening as we get to know her,
and be inspired by her steadfast faithfulness!

WOMEN’S SINGING DEVOTIONAL — Saturday, October 19 @ 9:30 AM
Join us for our 2nd Annual women’s singing devotional on October 19 from 9:30-11:30 AM at The Farmstead on the River (1565 Green Drive Canton, GA 30114).  This morning will be “rich” in fellowship, worshipful song, prayer, quiet meditation, and Sisterhood!

We will be taking up our annual special contribution in five weeks! Last year we collected around $180,000, which was about 15 times our weekly contribution. It was very encouraging! To date, we have distributed all but $5,000, and hope to send the remaining amount to help out in Mozambique by the end of the month. As in the past, you will have the ability to let us know how you would like your donation spent. Choices will include local benevolence, international benevolence, adoptions, disaster relief, assistance for sister churches, and our NextGen Fund. More specific details on the options will be outlined in the next few weeks.  In the words of Paul, I hope we will “excel in the grace of giving…for you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:8-9

This retreat is specifically for 6-8th graders.  $90/person or $115/person after October 1.  Check in is at 7PM on Friday (eat dinner before arriving), concludes at 2PM on Sunday (lunch provided).  For more info, please see Lilly Espinosa or Cory Cole.

TRUNK OR TREAT — Saturday, October 26
A Halloween celebration for the whole family!  On Saturday, October 26 from 6-8 PM there will be a Trunk or Treat in the parking lot of the building.  The church and the neighborhood are invited to wear costumes and trick or treat while viewing decorated cars in the parking lot. For more information or to reserve a spot for your decorated vehicle, please contact Mary Fitts. 678-793-7661 or mary1fitts@gmail.com. The event will include food, trunk decoration contest, games and a costume contest.  Click here to volunteer!

Save the date for a Strength in Weakness workshop led by our brother, Guy Hammond and hosted by the Cornerstone Church.  Details will be communicated as they are worked out.  More information on Guy’s ministry can be found on his website.

PATH WOMEN’S RETREAT: CLING — November 1-3, 2019
You’re invited to join us at The 2019 Path Women’s Retreat! This year our theme, “Cling”, is focused on Deuteronomy 13:4! There’s something about that word cling – so many of God’s commands can be satisfied from a distance, but clinging puts us in His face. It’s personal. It’s needed. With so many things competing for our attention, distractions that can be both good and bad, this weekend will be centered around making the personal choice to prioritize our pursuit of our intimacy with God. Click here for more info and to register.
